Forensic examination (judicial expertise) is an expert study on the basis of special knowledge of material objects, phenomena, and processes that contain information about the circumstances of a case in the proceedings of preliminary investigation bodies or courts.

Legislation of Ukraine on forensic examination consists of the Forensic Examination Act, Instruction on the Appointment and Conduct of Forensic Examinations and Expert Studies, other regulatory legal acts.

The Vinnytsia CCI provides the following types of forensic examinations:

4. Commodity expertise.
5. Land and technical expertise.
6. Intellectual property objects examination.
