“In the years 2012-2014 India was part of the three largest economic partners of Ukraine, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to 3.3 billion dollars. In the years 2014-2015 through a difficult situation in Ukraine turnover figure dropped to 1.8 billion dollars. Of this amount, 1.4 billion dollars was Ukraine’s exports to India. However, the total figure of Ukraine’s trade with other countries is also $ 1 billion, “- said Manoj Kumar Bharti. So said that India has a huge potential for investment in the Ukrainian economy, even in these difficult times for the country.

The Ambassador stressed the need to leave at least the pre-crisis level and expressed confidence that it is the chambers of commerce to help with this.

Manoj Kumar Bharti proposed to hold a seminar regarding trends and important aspects of cooperation with India. In particular, July 17, a seminar is planned in Lviv Chamber of Commerce and in September – In Dnipropetrovsk.
